Temperate Rainforest Tour
Canada, United States, Australia, Japan, Chile
Info & Schedule
Beginning in September 2006 and stretching into spring of 2008 Dana will tour with rainforest activist Pat Rasmussen on the west coast of Canada and the United States, the east coast of Australia, Japan and Chile.
Temperate rainforests are rare throughout the world and many are being logged at an alarming rate. Temperate (cool and rainy) rainforests can be found only on the west coast of North and South America (Chile, California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia & Alaska) and in Tasmania (Australia) and New Zealand.
The purpose of this five country tour is to help unite the global temperate rainforest movement and to help educate folks around the world about temperate rainforests.
The dates listed below are still coming together. We’ll add information as it comes in.
